Ben was great to work with. He always got back to us and gave great advice on how to negotiate our real estate transaction. We had to deal with some issues during the transaction and Ben always kept us in the loop and made sure everything went smoothly.

Helped me buy home • 2014
Ben Meyers at Realty Idaho was fantastic to work with in our first ever real estate purchase. Not only was he patient with us and very knowledgeable about the areas we were considering, but he truly had our best interests at heart. He showed us several properties in Nampa, Caldwell, and Middleton, with no pressure to move more quickly or to purchase a home vs a lot. We ended up purchasing the perfect lot to build our home on, and Ben did awesome for us through the negotiation process and was very responsive. He also helped us watch out for potential pitfalls we hadn't thought about. we had such a good experience I used him for another real estate purchase two years later. I highly recommend Ben!

Listed home, but didn't sell • Boise, ID • 2016
My wife and I listed our large home through this broker, Ben Myers, with one of his agents, Ryan Thompson, in May of 2016. As I recall, upon soliciting us, Ryan assured us he could sell our home in a short period of time for much more than we were planning on listing it, due to a very strong sellers market and his real-estate and marketing know-how. We agreed to list our home with him (and therefore his broker) for at least 60 days starting at the price he recommended. Ryan came back with a proposed written “Seller Representation Agreement” denoting a time frame of 180 days (rather than 60 days), pointing out that since it stated a zero % and zero dollar cancellation fee, we could terminate this contract at any time without penalty. As I recall, he further assured us that if at any point we did not want to continue working with him (and therefore his broker), they would gladly bow out without opposition. So we signed his proposed Agreement and he began marketing our home. After receiving no written offers at all in over 70 days, we informed Ryan we were cancelling this agreement, because we wanted to try selling our home with a different agent/broker with different ideas while still in the relatively prime marketing time of late summer. Ryan informed us Ben (who we had yet to even speak with by phone, text or otherwise) required that we meet with him face-to-face at his office to cancel the agreement. The meeting ended abruptly, as I recall, when Ben told us to leave his office and not come back, and that he would not let us out of our agreement with him, as if he had the authority to hold us in it. We retained an attorney, who then sent Ben and his company a letter informing him he had “no contractural right to decline termination of the representation agreement”, and instructing him to fully cooperate with another agent/broker of our choosing. Due to no response, a second letter was sent necessarily. We have purchased and sold several homes over the years. This was by far the most unprofessional and distasteful encounter we have had in dealing with a real estate agent/broker team, from the initial gross over-estimation of our home value to the unreasonable struggle they put up as we worked to free ourselves from their representation.

Ben helped us purchase our first home. The process was new to us and he walked us through each step perfectly. We always felt we knew exactly what was going on. He's very knowledgeable of the Treasure Valley area and helped us find the perfect location for our needs. He's honest and trustworthy and an expert at making sure that both buyer and seller are getting a fair deal.
