REAL ESTATE FAQS

How do real estate commissions work?

A real estate agent’s commission is the fee paid in exchange for their services rendered to help buyers and sellers with a real estate transactions. Agents are paid by commissions in order to incentivize them to get the best price for a home.

As the seller, you will be paying the commission for both the buyer and the seller. While most real estate transactions have an agent representing both the buyer and seller, the seller of the home is responsible for paying the commission of both agents.
